Yeah, and koolaid is cheap too, so it's as easy to keep stocked up on in the fridge as water. ^^ My family always at least had some Koolaid to drink because of that. XD Loved those clear-flavored ones too, those were really juicy. O:
I know that feel man. D: Used to play it on my GBC, had the 3D sequel on the PSX (Wasn't that bad, IMO.) and actually got the Atari 2600 version sometime later at a used game store! More fun than most of the slop on LIVE Arcade or iPhone, hands down.
It seems that way! If only the top screen on my phat DS wasn't in such poor shape, (Colors are all wonky from dropping it too many times. Never should have started carrying around in my pocket without the case. Will replace it or the whole system eventually.) I'd give you my friend code in a heart beat.
Same here! I loved Rayman 2 to pieces when I was a kid, and still do. :3 Actually beat it again recently! The first Rayman isn't half bad either if you don't mind a serious challenge. XD (I'll eventually order a physical copy of the Playstation version, it looks way better than the GBA port. XD)
Yeah, a lot of kids overlook everything revolutionary that brought the last two gens to where they're at now. A lot of SNES and Genesis games still hold up today with some of the best 2D games of all time, getting remade/ported constantly, and some Playstation games like the original Spyro or Crash series still look amazing. Movies can be just as timeless, and we'll never forget the Rock legends of the 70's/80's.
Just because it's older doesn't make it bad, there are some NES/Famicom games I play that were made before I was even born, and they're still pretty fun now. XD
Sadly a true story. My little cousin thinks everything I play is retarded/gay/stupid/weird until he tries it for himself. I used to have a disturbingly similar mindset at his age, but it didn't stop me from trying out and loving dozens of Atari 2600, NES, SNES, and Megadrive games. XD
